  1. On your Windows PC, open iTunes. If you don\u2019t have it on your PC, download iTunes.<\/li>
  2. Connect your device to your computer with a USB cable.<\/li>
  3. If asked for your device passcode or to Trust This Computer, follow the onscreen steps. Get help if you forgot your passcode.<\/li>
  4. Select your device in iTunes. Learn what to do if your device doesn\u2019t appear on your computer.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    5. Click Summary.<\/p>

    6. If you want to save Health and Activity data from your device or Apple Watch, you need to encrypt your backup. Select the \u201cEncrypt local backup\u201d checkbox and create a memorable password (Write down your password and store it somewhere safe, because there\u2019s no way to recover your iTunes backups without this password.)<\/p>

    7. Click Back Up Now.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
