- Purpose of this Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Informatique Bluetech Inc., as a business located in Québec
and an Apple Authorized Service Provider, collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares personal
information in compliance with Québec’s Law 25, the Act Respecting the Protection of
Personal Information in the Private Sector, and Apple’s requirements for service providers. - Privacy Officer

The Privacy Officer ensures that this policy is enforced and that any privacy incidents are
handled in accordance with Law 25. - Personal Information Collected
As part of our technical service, repair, and product handling operations, Bluetech collects only
the personal information necessary to deliver service:
• Full name
• Postal address
• Email address
• Phone number
• Device serial number
• Description of technical problems
• Electronic or handwritten signature
• Date and time of check-in
• Service and diagnostic history
Additional information may be collected when using our website (www.ibluetech.ca), including:
IP address, browser type, operating system, browsing behavior, and cookies (see separate site
privacy policy). - Purpose of Use
Personal information is collected strictly for the following purposes:
• Opening service requests or completing authorized repairs
• Communicating with the client for service updates
• Submitting warranty service reports to Apple (via GSX)
• Protecting Bluetech in the event of disputes or claims
• Improving service quality and internal security
• Complying with applicable laws and official legal requests
No data is used for marketing or commercial purposes without the client’s explicit consent. - Video and Audio Surveillance
To ensure the security of customer property and traceability of services, Bluetech uses video
and audio surveillance in the following areas:
• Front reception and check-in desk
• Technical service and repair workshop
Recordings are:
• Kept for a maximum of 12 days
• Automatically deleted unless related to an incident
• Strictly accessible to the owner and director only
• Stored securely in a restricted system
Notice of surveillance is visibly posted at the store entrance, as required by Law 25. - Data Retention and Security
• Customer data is stored in a secure digital environment (Firebase, ADM system).
• Access is strictly limited to authorized personnel (certified technicians,
managers).
• Data is retained for up to 3 years after the last service date, unless required
longer by Apple or law.
• All data transfers are encrypted and access-controlled.
In the event of a privacy breach, Bluetech will follow the official incident response procedure
under Law 25, including notifying the Commission d’accès à l’information (CAI) and affected
individuals if necessary. - Sharing with Third Parties
We do not share any personal information with unauthorized third parties.
Information may be shared only with:
• Apple Inc. (via GSX) when required for authorized repairs, warranty validation, or
AppleCare+ services
• Legal authorities if compelled by formal legal processes (court order, subpoena,
etc.)
Bluetech never sells or rents your personal information. - Client Rights and Consent
By signing a service form or using our services, the client acknowledges that they have read
this policy.
Under Law 25, any client may:
• Request access to their personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of their data, unless retention is required by law or Apple
• Withdraw consent for future uses

This policy may be updated at any time based on changes to legislation or Apple’s
requirements.
All updated versions will be included in our service repair documents (SRO) and published on
our website: www.ibluetech.ca
